I would like to report extremely negative customer experience with Beauty Lounge at Avenue Road. I responded to a direct email advertisement of an offer for Mother's day special, which by then has expired. However, they offered me another deal of first 20 units of Botox for $99 with subsequent units at $8.99 per unit. When I came for my appointment, the sales manager tried unsuccessfully up-sell me for more units. When I declined, she engaged the help of the nurse - Indy to inform me that I cannot use $99 offer UNLESS i buy additional units. Nowhere in the email correspondence that I had with a staff did it mention the need to buy additional units to take advantage of this offer. When I showed them email correspondence, they proceeded to tell me that this was the writing style of the person who responded to my email. The writing style that does not mention any conditions attached to the offer? I call this style "false advertising". While anybody can make a mistake, good customer service practices dictate that the company needs to honour the offer their employee made, even if in error. Needless to say I will not be back! Buyers beware of their sales tactics!
