My boyfriend is obsessed with segways and likes to take tours on them everywhere we go. We'd never been to Scottsdale before and this seemed like a good way to get the lay of the land. He also was concerned it would be too hot in October and thought this would be a better option than walking or hiking. It was still pretty hot, but our guide did make sure to bring lots of water and we had some opportunities to get off and walk around. I do think we missed out on the frozen neckties mentioned on the website though. I really appreciate the audio receivers used by this company. It made hearing the actual tour so much easier. There is also a bag on your Segway to put your stuff in.
Our guide was great and provided us lots of useful information. He was careful to make sure all the members of our group felt comfortable on their segways before we hit the streets. There is lots of street riding in this tour which does make me a little leary. There were some good photo ops and we learned more than we knew about the area then when we started. I do wish I had taken the time to see if I could find a sale price somewhere, but its still money well spent.
