| - I'm at this building too often. As an MBA student at UNC Charlotte, I have all my classes at the Center City building. If you want to be a UNCC MBA student, most of your classes will be here as well, unless you have a specific concentration. The building opened for classes in the Fall of 2011, so is very new. The technology in the classrooms makes lectures more interactive, unless the professor doesn't know how to use something, in which case, we just get used to the slight annoyance. Every room is bright (except the bathrooms) and set up practically (except the lack of electric outlets in the center of some of the rooms). The rooms are cleaned after every class and bathrooms cleaned every night. Security is friendly and quirky. Einstein's is convenient, but there's definitely a need for more dining options closer to the school (7th Street Market Place is good when you have at least an hour break, but not when you only have 15 minutes). Someone tell the food trucks to gather around the building at around 5pm, they would make a killing there. I would be a daily customer.
Plus they're part of the Envision Charlotte project so they comply with a wide array of sustainable activities, including motion sensored lights (which turn off after 10 minutes even when you're in the freaking room, studying while not moving) and no trashcans in rooms (only in the hallways).
All in all, a good addition to the UNCC portfolio of buildings.
