  • The pharmacy is incompetent. Went to renew a generic prescription which would cost less than $20.00. Was told the manufacturer was out of product and would not be available until the end of the year. Asked about a generic alternate and was told the only available alternate was the brand for more than $2,100.00. Glad we refused. Went to Walmart and got the generic for $20.00. Very disappointed in Walgreens. The clerk had no concern about quoting $2,100.00 for the medication, like it was nothing. Our healthcare system may be in shambles but I would have expected better from Walgreens as a national pharmacy. Now, its Walmart for us where will will be treated fairly. The lesson here is to shop around.
