| - I WAS SO HAPPY TO BE ABLE TO EAT OUT.
I'm back for EPIC, and as a new Celiac, I was worried about not being able to eat out at all with my coworkers. Alas, I found Jacs through both Yelp and Find Me Gluten Free, and they delivered more than I could have expected. It was smaller than I thought based on pictures, but very cozy and the waitress was awesome.
Food was good, first of all. The cheese curds were not heavy or very oily, and the dip it came with was really yummy. This was very easy to share with my coworker. I think this was automatically GF?
Serving sizes were big. Even though we got small salads, they were huge! Lots of cheese curds, lotta salad, big main dish, and even a big creme brulee! Ffffffff.
Lastly, I didn't have to explain at all about my Celiac/allergy, which made me very, very, very happy. This is my biggest gripe with eating out. It's been over 24 hours and I have not had a reaction, so I feel safe to say that this is Celiac friendly.
Whenever I come back for training in the future, I plan on coming here. Continue being awesome!
