  • I wish I would have checked their rating on Yelp before making an appointment for a second opinion. I called Abbey dental to find out if they took my dental insurance and the receptionist said yes, so I proceeded to make an appointment. They took xrays, the dentist explained that he agreed with what my original dentist recommended. I asked for the price and the next thing I know they ran my credit and let me know I had enough room on my CareCredit to cover the cost. First off, I didn't give them permission to run my credit. Second, why would you run my credit if you didn't even talk to me about the price and whether I could afford it? I asked what my insurance would cover and she said they no longer take insurance. I must pay cash upfront and be reimbursed by my insurance. I then heard the woman in the room next to me complaining about the exact same thing. They ran her credit without asking her too. They are all about deception. Had I known from the get go that my insurance wasn't accepted, I wouldn't have made an appointment. They run your credit with out permission. My credit score has now been hit with 3 different inquiries and lowered. IF YOU DON"T WANT YOUR CREDIT SCORE HIT........DO NOT GO TO ABBEY DENTAL. They do not run an honest business. I spoke with the woman in the room next to me and her appointment went the same as mine. She came in for a second opinion and without her knowledge they ran her credit. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.
