| - I'm a little upset about my visit tonight at Sushi Wa. My family and I go there just about any chance we get, but due to changing schedules, new jobs, etc. it has been about a month since we came in last.
We were seated quickly, in a booth that we requested- there were a couple at a table, a few people at the bar, and one other booth occupied when we arrived.
We noticed right off hand that the menus were new. Which made us wonder if the management or owner had changed- because it was a completely different style.
The waitress, who didn't introduce herself wasn't one that we had ever seen before. She brought back our drinks rather quickly, and took my boyfriends order, but as soon as I opened my mouth to ask for my rolls-she walked away. And she didn't come back until she delivered our first order of food.
When I did ask to order, her face completely changed. It was shocking to me. At first I thought it was just me, but my boyfriend saw it as well. It looked as if I was severely an inconvenience to her, and as if she had somewhere to be.
I know that menu items take time, however, with a restaurant that isn't even 1/4 full, waiting 30 minutes for two rolls that were ordered by my boyfriend the first time is a little silly.
The food was still delicious, I recommend the sex bomb, bonsai, crispy rice, and the seared peppered baby tuna. However, it's the worst service that we have ever experienced-and I'm disappointed in sushi wa. Hopefully this was just a fluke.
