  • Edward (or, have we spent enough time together by now that I can call you Ed?): your scoop is my favourite. Boasting a broad and creative selection of both ice cream and gelato, Ed's makes great product. Smooth, super-flavourful, and top-notch quality, I (uncharacteristically) never get a cone here because I like to enjoy the flavour of the ice cream with nothing else. My favourites are: Pistachio gelato - rich flavour! No hokey bright green colour! Tastes like - no foolin'! - real pistachios, and Mercury espresso ice cream - giving a creamy-but-bold Leslieville nod to the coffee joint across the street Need some further inspiration? Last week's visit had me choosing between chili chocolate, cherry, and toasted marshmallow. In the words of Aziz Ansari: TREAT YO'SELF! Yelp note: take away pints and ice cream delights (think: a "just because" ice cream cake? It brings with it insta-popularity!)
