| - BEWARE~~~ they are a SCAM, I know I BOUGHT due to this listing on bradsdeals.com (THX BD!!! GOOD research on a cripplingly dishonest merchant. Guess they REALLY paid you well, so screw us, right? Guess that shows YOUR ethics too, so long as merchant pays YOU, all good right?).
OK, but as for BELK.....so I order over a WEEK ago, they sent confirmation email saying I'm to receive shipping notice "In no more 48 hours" & it will be sent out quickly thereafter.
Well NO.......got NOTHING.
NO "shipping" notice, not even until TODAY, over a week later. I call & get NO ONE to speak to. NO surprise, email inquiries with my order number go unreturned.
OH but seems they do have PLENTY of time on their hands for LOTS of spam to illegally mail out daily. NOT one but multiple daily emails though I UNCLICKED permission to email me anything (but my order!)! You know how THAT goes, they have it checked already so you gotta look when ordering to UNcheck that box (what a slime move even THAT is).
So yeah...ads for them--- SPAM TO all of us.
I kept "unsubscribing" but alas, they KEEP coming.
I believe they will NEVER end.
What they did NOT do was work on my simple order (3 products). NO shipping notice. NO return call. NO email. NO shipping.
Nothing!!
Today I, out of nowhere, got an email saying TWO of the items were CANCELED ----no information!
Just they don't have it!! Huh?
So to sum up, seems THEY SOLD IT, charged my credit card, but aren't honoring the contract. As that is what THAT represents, a contract.
.
It's like that Seinfeld episode where he explains the art of TAKING a reservation, how you haven't TAKEN one if you didn't actually HOLD IT. Same applies here.
I mean, can you walk into a store, buy something & NOT get it? Imagine standing in line to pay for it, only to hear...."we'll charge your card, but can't bag this for you, consider it now GONE (maybe for someone else)....we no longer HAVE IT ('you just dreamt all that up' as they take it back)"?!
Yeah, big existential & highly ridiculous example, I know, but when you BUY online, you also have BOUGHT something. Simple premise.
We can't say "sorry" afterward, NOR should THEY HAVE right to. Well maybe they do NOT have right to, but exercise it anyhow & then laugh later.
But even worse, nothing about the other item I ordered. NO reference to that at all.
Contacting my credit card after I finish writing this.
They are a SCAM. STAY FAR AWAY! You've been warned. May they go OUT of business before holidays even hit. Criminals. Just kills me, the audacity!!
Impossible to sell what you don't have. That constitutes fraud. Guess they were email-baiting & advertising sweet price on beauty items they had NO intention of honoring.
Sure they employ the same lack of ethics throughout...online AND in store. Let's reward them the same back!! In spades!
