  • Well back during black Friday I called audio express to get an alarm with remote start for my daughter she has a stick shift 2000 toyota camry and audio express said they wanted $800 so I called slanging and the guy on the phone said that was way way over priced and he said that yes it did take a little more to install it on a stick shift so I told him I would also buy a full din stereo as well if they could just do a package deal and they did so I had my son go down and pay for it I'm in a wheelchair so kinda hard for me to get around. Anyways todaywhen she took her car in they told her there's no way they could do it at that price and that their guy should have never quoted me that. Well it wasn't a quote I already paid them ahead of time for the install and I paid them for remote start along with the rest of the alarm you know keyless entry and functional alarm.  So they have her car from 9 am until 8pm and they pick up her car and now her subs don't work. She already had a system with subs amps and a deck all they wer supposed to do was hook up the deck. So the guy said the amp wasn't grounded and they said they seen rca cords laying under a floor mat. Instead of calling me and asking if I wanted them to ground the amp for an extra charge or something.  Don't just send the car on its way with a brand new deck and it don't even work because of why I don't know because her stereo worked just fine before and now it suddenly don't so I don't know, but what's the point of buying her the deck and pre paying for the install so she wouldn't have any hassles.  So basically they put a stereo in the dash but it don't play music it just lights up. Anyone could have literally just set a stereo in the dash and said there it's installed.  Yea dude such a let down.  And I saved up for quit a while to get her remote start. I'm in a wheelchair and on a very limited income.  She is a good girl going to college to be a crime scene investigator and during the summer her car takes quite a while to cool down so that's why I wanted remote start for her
