I almost gave this two stars but I needn't go quite that low.
Highlight: the free shuttle.
Jack, the driver, was helpful and friendly. He took us downtown to a restaurant where we had a dinner reservation and picked us up afterwards to bring back to the hotel.
Lowlights: check-in, housekeeping
Check-in is advertised as 4pm. We arrived shortly thereafter to find out that we were one of 6 rooms that weren't ready yet. We had to wait until 5:30 to get a room. I'm really happy this wasn't an occasion where I needed to shower and change to be at an evening event out I would have been out of luck.
Housekeeping seemed overwhelmed. It was part of the reason for the delay in checking in. There were also little things like a tray of finished room service items sitting outside a room for at least 4 hours when housekeeping was right on that floor cleaning. Although no one was prompt about the dishes in the hallway all evening, morning housekeeping came knocking on the door to clean soon after 9am. Ugh. Checkout is at noon.
Anyway, the room was clean and a nice size. The shower curtain was missing the liner which was strange but everything else seemed in order. The breakfast buffet was average. The bed was on the soft side. The air conditioner was loud but effective and you could adjust the temperature.
All in all, the place wasn't a disaster but I'd probably try somewhere else next time.
