  • This place is awesome. Located in the same shopping center as Chicago Deli, we walked into a pet store that had extremely clean tanks and cages, clean floors despite the weather, and a very friendly and informative staff. Hubby and i wanted to get a male cockateil to replace the one that died for my mom-in-law. The girls there didn't know which ones were girls and boys, but they waited patiently while we figured it out. They were able to answer basic questions for us, and while hubby figured out the bird gender, my kids and I were able to gather some food and new toys for the cage at home. Since I'm not a bird person, I needed help with that and they were so helpful! Yes, next time I'm in the area, I will be coming back!
