| - I'm disappointed with the whole experience. When I was booking my appointment it was easy and quick, I booked through yelp and received responses back within 15 min. I liked the reviews previous people posted, plus the $25 new customer price was enticing too. They advised to exfoliate, shave & wash before the spray tan & I did.
I got to the place on a Friday afternoon, it was busy and the parking lot was full. There was a girl in front of me, everyone was nice and polite, the customer service wasn't an issue.
The booths are cloth curtains with towels on the floor and dim lighting. I paid after the tan and was given some samples for lotion and body wash.
When I got home I noticed my neck was splotchy. I contacted the place and they asked me to text pics and said I'd be ok, it would come off in the morning after i showered. When I showered it didn't seem better.
So I messaged the company this morning before 10 and I didn't get any response. My fiance and I stopped in and asked if this was normal and the woman at the front desk confirmed it was splotchy, she put me thru on the phone with the owner.
The owner offered to respray me and I declined. I spoke to her on the phone at length, i talked about how I prepared before my spray tan and she had the audacity to tell me it may have been the soap I used (trying to blame the results on me) I exfoliated, shaved and washed regularly like they recommended. She apologized and after i asked I receive my money back.
But now I am taking engagement photos tomorrow with this horrible tan. I'm glad I got my money back for the $25 tan, but I loss my tip (I tipped $10, 20% on the regular price) and i am in this situation with my engagement photos.
I recommend looking at my photos and deciding if you want a similar experience.
