In 2007, my new wife and I were trying to migrate from our "bachelor/bachelorette" furniture into our grown up house.
It started with shopping for a new TV stand for our big screen TV. After looking at all the local big-box furniture stores, we weren't satisfied with the quality of furniture. On a lark we went to our local Ethan Allen store (at the time, they were on Rainbow.) At that time, we were introduced to a staff interior designer, Teri Weyer. She came out to our house, took measurements of our rooms, asked us plenty of questions to understand our taste and took into account the pieces that we were intending to keep. In addition, she helped design both my wife's and my offices as well as our master bedroom.
Teri and her team at the Las Vegas Design Center have been a delight to work with. She is professional and has been great to work with. She's also honest and will tell you what will work and what won't work.
Now, you may think that "Ethan Allen is out of my price range." But, Teri and the team worked within our budget and put together various phasing plans so that we could accomplish our goals.
Fast forward ten years. We are still enjoying our Ethan Allen pieces. We continue to work with Teri - now the Design Center Manager - and her team when we have furniture needs. It's furniture - and a relationship - that have withstood the test of time.
