  • I went in there to purchase a safety razor (after being referred by Madison & Page -- another brilliant "shop local" store in Calgary) and was mesmerized by the traditional shaving kit they sell. Firstly, guys, shave with a traditional safety razor (or straight if you dare). I did it once and it is a brilliant experience. Gillette has been lying to us for decades. Shave the way grandpa did. Trust me. That said, I also am now obsessed with Japanese chef's knives. What a difference. I am now trying to figure out how to update my blades.
