Who knew you could do so much with a hot dog??
These guys have to be doing something right to have been in business so long, and the tasty hot dog I ate backed up that theory all the way from hungryville to fat-and-happy town.
I think these guys must be the only people who still cool on actual charcoal inside a restaurant. They seem to have a pretty tight system going where they get your order and start it going so that by the time you get to the cashier your order is ready to go. I did feel like it was a little crowded in the kitchen, with staff kinda falling over each other, but the food came out quickly and tasting good. So whatever works.
They did get the order a little wrong, but it was lunchtime and packed, so not the end of the world.
Glad I visited - felt like I got a small slice of what 1950s hot dog America was like :)
