  • Loved it! This place is so interesting and I can not wait to go back. It's mind boggling that I have lived uptown for over two years, and just now getting around to visiting. Good thing I have a membership now! First of all, the location is great. I have always been into art and it is nice that Charlotte has such an amazing scene for it. When I think of "art", I think of peace and tranquility. Which was everything that I experienced during my visit. At the front desk, I was greeted by two kind ladies. They walked me through the different types of admissions, which were general, student, youth, and senior. These were offered as a one time admission or one year membership. Now, I came in for the single day pass, but the membership was unbeatable. It offered admission to both Mint Museums located in Charlotte, and several others across the states. Also, 10% off on the restaurant that I hear is amazing! I got much more for my monies worth with the membership. The exhibits were very enjoyable and I felt like I connected with Viva Moschino! fashion line the most. It is crazy to me that something such as garbage, can be made into fashionable clothing! This museum offered other great exhibits throughout its four floors. I could spend hours here on any given day. With my membership I plan on visiting the other Mint museum on Randolf Road. Also, I travel to Asheville a lot and I am sure I could find admission into one there. Hell, I might as well try and get into every museum that is included. Why? BECAUSE I CAN!
