I encourage you to ask for Taylor if you want to be sold a car without the slimy salesman stigma.
Stopped by today to test drive an Accent and had an appointment with Taylor. I was very pleased with the experience. It was my girlfriends first car shopping experience (shopping for herself) and she was very anxious about the pushy nature of the salesmen. We were pleasantly surprised. Taylor was friendly and professional and NOT a pushy salesman. We decided that if we do choose the Accent we will be making sure he gets the sale. He was honest, did not push, and kept professional boundaries while being totally friendly.
This would be a 5 star review but there was one downside to the experience. I made it clear to Taylor on the phone that we were not coming in to purchase a vehicle today, he respected my wishes. I was not pleased when the GM approached us and said "I heard you were considering a civic, we have one on the lot, I'm having someone pull it up now, then we can get you in a car today."
The car had over 100k miles on it and was not remotely what she was looking for, but she felt as if she had to take him up on the offer to drive it. We also did not ASK to drive it, wasn't a fan.
Leave it to your salesman...he was killing it.
