  • I never realized this place existed until my last trip to U of I. It is actually relatively close to campus despite the Savoy address (you still need a car)! Anyway, this is a real tasking room right on the side of their production plant. This is truly a microbrewery and I like that! It's nice to see a local brewery that all they do is allow tasting and hanging out. The facilities are surprisingly large and clean. The beer menu is quite large and varied. I actually didn't like their beer that much, but perhaps I chose poorly. It wasn't that the beer was horrible, but none of them wowed me! Still, I think they provide a great product and experience. I have been to more expensive and fancier breweries who had horrific beer. Their beer was ok, but the whole experience made up for that! I highly recommend checking this chill place out!
