| - Wow, just wow.
Christmas day, about to head to the movies with my family. My dad informs us that Eddie's House is open and I make the call for a reservation. Voicemail. Didn't bother to leave one. I get a call 15 minutes later. "Hi, this is Eddie with Eddie's House". Who knew the top chef in all of Arizona would call me back personally? We make our reservation for 5:45, but show up at 5:30 and they get us seated immediately.
Now, the fun begins.
The restaurant has a kitchen table like atmosphere. You can see Eddie cooking in the back. Your chair is one of the most comfortable chairs I've ever been in while in a restaurant. The table is huge. It is a very comfortabel atmosphere that wasn't too loud so you can afford a talk with the family (unlike many Scottsdale restaurants).
For the food, I kind of went all out. My sister ordered the hummus as an appetizer, which was delicious. I got a Caesar Salad, which was very tasteful with this side thing of olives that was amazing in taste. I just wish the Caesar had a little more dressing!
Next up, was the main course. The Famous, One and Only, What's In This Steak, for me! It was mouth watering. Filet Mignon surrounded by mashed potatoes (quite literally, look at the pictures for it!) with a light parmesan crust. Possibly one of the best things I ever tasted.
Oh wait, the best thing I ever tasted was Eddie's desert! I got this tiramisu order. Ice cream with semi frozen cookie dough surrounding it with chocolate sauce. Wow. I was so full, but I had to finish that. It was just one of the most mouth watering deserts I've ever had.
And to top off all this amazing food, was amazing service. My sister's entree was messed up. Eddie said he was "embarassed". They brought out a new one and took off the other entree. The waitress was very friendly as well!
All in all, Eddie's House is the place to dine! Go get your reservation now!
