  • My husband stays at Marriott hotels quite frequently for work, so when my mother in law, sister in law and her three kids came into town he decided to set them up in a room at this hotel because it isn't too far from our house. Unfortunately for all of us we assumed this hotel would be nice as my husband has never had any issues with other Marriott hotels, we were wrong to assume. The hotel itself has a dirty feel, and it is not in a good area, but that was least of our problems! Today, 6/17/18, we all went swimming and then went up to the room, our son, who is just under 2, was playing under the desk when he reached up and pulled a bag down from underneath the desk, but it was caught on something, I looked under there to see what it was, sure enough it looked like drugs, looked at the other corner, needle. We were so upset! My husband called the front desk to have the manager come up to the room immediately, but he wasn't able to because he couldn't leave the desk area I guess. We called Phoenix PD who came within 10minutes to get the drugs out of the room and we immediately checked my in laws out. Avoid this hotel, your health and your children's health depend on it. I cannot shake what could have happened if I hadn't been right there with my son, he could have gotten that needle or that bag of drugs open, or had my little nephews gotten a hold of it. So scary, so gross, just ew!
