| - I have been here several times, once with my kitten(at the time) who they diagnosed with egc. And another time with my most recent kitten who had a uri. I have been very happy with the experiences I previously had so when my kitten got into my guinea pigs medicine, I called them first. I called the first time and she asked if it was an emergency or if she could put me on hold, I was on hold before I could answer waited a couple minutes, hung up. Called again, same answer and I went to say, not immediately but it needs to be quick. Again, before I could finish what I was saying I was on hold. Once she picked up I explained what had happened, I was giving my guinea pig his medicines for the pneumonia he was recently diagnosed with (meds including two antibiotics and an anti inflammatory) which she then cut me off and said, "we don't handle guinea pigs" which I responded as nicely as I possible could while being annoyed as hell while my kitten(10 weeks old) is foaming at the mouth, "I'm not calling about my guinea pig, if you would let me finish what I was saying." And went on telling her how he got the reminisce of what was in the syringe. She responded with me needing to call animal poison control, which I did. While I was on hold for 15 minutes trying to talk to someone from there, I had my mom call them back to see if I should just take him in. She calls and argues with the lady about going to ask the vet, since she gave attitude while giving the advice to just stay on hold. While again. My cat is foaming at the mouth. Hilarious to me that someone supposed to be answering the phone is such a bitch. Could use some work. Really.
