Oh come on, it's not that bad. Yes, it can be a bit noisy on weekend nights but that's the trade off for being within walking distance of all the old town bars. I miss being able to walk to so many places and being seconds from Fashion Square. The layouts are great and really maximize the space without feeling too boxy. My apartment was in excellent shape and the few maintenance requests I made were always taken care of promptly. Also, the workout room is decently stocked (not a replacement for an actual gym but an okay substitute on days when you're too lazy to drive to the gym). And I can honestly say that I got almost all of my deposit money back. I just wanted to put that out there, because I've heard people complain that San Marin just keeps your deposit no matter what. They do make you get the carpets steam-cleaned professionally though so I guess that's about equal to losing your deposit at a normal place, but at least they let you know about that up front. So there's my two cents!!
