  • Went to Khao San Road as a group of 6 only to find out it was closed for the long weekend. We instead went to Pai North and got seats on the patio. Just after we ordered food a storm blew through, but the waitress was kind enough to get us seats at another table indoors. The interior is roomy with island themed decor mixed in with random antiques. Our food came out fairly quickly, even though the place was packed. I ordered the Pad Thai with Beef, with extra peanut sauce on the side. It was more curried than a normal Pad Thai and was fairly spicy for medium. Overall probably the best Pad Thai I have had in the city. Great value overall - will definitely be back to check out the other dishes.
