  • I had a shrimp po' boy when I came here and it was delicious! The shrimp was crisp and the bread was fresh. The only problem was the wait. I had to wait over 20 minutes for a po' boy and a sandwich. Maybe it was because I went on a Friday or maybe it could be contributed to the time went into making it. None the less, waiting for food that long on a to-go order wasn't what I expected. The owner was very friendly and even offered samples to those who did not know what gumbo. If you're looking for a fancy Cajun restaurant this is not it. The decor was nothing to brag about. But if you want to impress your family and friends by taking them to a place with good down home cooking then definitely stop by and give them a try!
