We came to check out Chinatown as is our tradition everytime we travel so we asked the Cab driver to take us there and he dropped us off where the arches were and we were sorely disappointed as all the restaurants in that square did not have any rating higher than 3 stars and me being an avid Yelper was not ready to settle for less.
Once again due to a lack of public transport in that area and with the wifey famished things began to get desperate and I was fighting for my survival!
Suddenly like out of the mist came these 4 young Vietnamese (to me they appeared to be 4 angels) and the wifey followed them into this joint after chatting with them briefly. I had no time to Yelp this place and my Yelps were drowned with the sounds of my wifeys hunger pangs.
I looked around and saw only Vietnamese faces all deeply engrossed in their meals and as no one was texting I knew we hit paydirt!
It took a few minutes for our waitress to warm up to us too rather degraggled appearing starving folks but once she did she was very helpful.
The wifey ordered the Rice with Grilled Pork and I ordered the Beef pho minus the tendons and we both quietly put our iphones down and were immersed into our dishes! On finishing one of the best Vietnamese meals we have had in a while I wifey spotted the table next to ours having a Boba and fond memories of our dearest son Kev she had a Mango Boba in his honour as he did not make the trip with us!
I would definitely recommend this place to fellow Yelpers as it seems only the locals know about this place off the Strip!
