| - I'll start with the positives...the staff is very nice, appointments are easy to make and they always run on time, but that is where the positivity ends. I have spent well over $1000 for a mild case of plantar fasciitis which is still causing me pain. All of my appointments were no longer than 5 minutes, Dr. Levine performed procedures (like ultrasounds and cortisone shots) without regard for how much each procedure would cost me. This is partly my fault for assuming my insurance would cover it all. They wanted me to buy a $300 night splint from them, which I declined. I was able to purchase the same exact one for $15 from Amazon. They told me my insurance approved my custom insoles, but they did not approve them so I had to pay out of pocket. When I told the doctor I was concerned about how much everything was costing me, he seemed to have no clue how much his procedures cost. The billing department is a mess. Every visit I paid a different amount, sometimes I would have a credit and then other times I would receive a separate bill in the mail. I feel as if I've been completely ripped off by this place, and now I have no money left to see another doctor to have my foot problem resolved. If you do choose this office, please make sure you are fully aware of what your insurance covers, do not assume that your co-pay covers procedures done in-office, and do not trust them if they say they got approval from your insurance. And check Amazon before you purchase anything from them!!!
