Overall, these apartments are "okay." These apartments are under new management and not for the better. Their billing practices for existing residents are questionable and their customer service approach leaves much to be desired.
No automatic withdrawal or online payment available. Dust off that checkbook because you will need it here. (Previous management company offered this- Equity.)
The appliances are sub-par. If you love 70s beige colored appliances, this is home for you.
The monthly rent is about 25% above market rate. (Check it at rentometer.com to see.) The amenities are average, not worth this premium.
The only redeeming factor is Joe the maintenance guy who is thoughtful of the residents
In my residence here, I had a bike jacked from my porch despite having it properly secured; the thieves managed to cut through 1" thick steel wire braided with Kevlar. It's a hood-life, I suppose. Mind you, this was a $100 Walmart bike, not worth it, IMO.
Overall, these apartments are "okay." I would recommend looking around outside of the Islands community. Good choices include nearby Chandler & Mesa.
