  • My dog has been boarded here many times. He is also happy to go and happy when he leaves. There is one girl (I'm not sure if she still works there) that is enthusiastic and helpful. Prior to this past week, I had never used them for grooming. I normally take my dog to PetSmart because it is close and I am rarely happy with the turnout of his cut and treatment. This time, after my dog was boarded, I decided I would get him a grooming. I asked for a wash, cut, nail clipper, and teeth brushing. The groomer came out to greet me. She was very nice to my dog and me. I explained that my dog had issues with dry skin. She was very informative and described what she would do to help that situation. My dog has had dry skin since the day I rescued him. Petsmart can't figure out how to help him. When my husband and me returned from our vacation, my dog looked great and his skin was in great shape! I was shocked... She even got the hair in his ear, which Petsmart normally ignores. Bottomline: Props to the groomer at Sonoran Desert Pet Resort, and everyone who takes care of my dog!
