  • After purchasing 4 vehicles from this Dealership over the last 10 years I Finally encountered a Major Safety/ Emissions Problem with my Daughters vehicle. The issue ( THE END CAP ON THE FUEL RAIL BAR WAS SPILLING FUEL ONTO THE MOTOR DUE TO A DEFECT IN THE DESIGN AT THE FACTORY.) The same model Camry was recalled in 2014 for defective end cap recalls. This vehicle has under the 80,000 8 year emission federal warrant and rails are covered under federal EPA guidelines, I was told the repairs would be 762.00 all for a recalled Item on the 2014 Camry. I was able to speak Cody and Doug both said they couldn't do anything and I should contact Toyota 1800 number I was told that year didn't have a recall , they wouldn't check and determine if the 2012 Fuel Rails and the 2014 recalled rails were made by the same manufacture . Well It is a issue that has been reported to the NHTSA. The dealership will not help you if they feel they don't have any responsibility to do so not even if it involves a persons Safety !!! In a nut shell I was told I'm looking for something for free. To Show you that isn't the case Doug I will have the Repairs done at your Dealership this week Appoint been set for 715 Thursday and will pay so no one dies in this vehicle that has the same issue as many other Auto Makers all fixing the issue after it is a known problem. I am beside myself that you or Reps from Toyota act as if the issue hasn't ever been seen . I guess I will sit in and wait for the service and eat free snacks and have a free water as that is more important to the Business than Safety!! I will call this COMPLACENCY AND THE CUSTOMER REALLY ISN'T AS IMPORTANT AS THIS DEALERSHIP PORTRAYS IN ITS SLOGANS. This is the way things operate with the Findely Toyota Dealership. No one wants to look into anything 3 service supervisors and not one willing to contact Toyota Corp to determine if our leaking fuel rail was made by the same manufacturer if an effort to make Toyota aware of the Safety issue. They send us on our way with fuel leaking out of the end cap. REALLY Findlay Toyota that's how you do business? Mr Lewis Zaic pictures will be posted soon . Don't expect this dealership to go out of the way for you they only do what is required and in this case not even that. Toyota announced today that it is recalling 20,000 late model vehicles equipped with the 3.5-liter V-6 engine for a possible fuel leak. Affected models include the 2014 Toyota Camry, Avalon, Highlander, and Sienna, as well as the 2015 Lexus RX. Meanwhile, General Motors is recalling approximately 3200 vans powered by natural gas due to a possible gas leak. The Fix: Toyota and Lexus dealers will verify if the fuel delivery pipe came from the aforementioned supplier. If so, the automaker will replace the affected fuel delivery pipe free of charge. NOT FINDLAY TOYOTA THEY WONT EVEN LOOK INTO IT . The Problem: Toyota says an end cap on one of the fuel delivery pipes may have been improperly welded by the supplier. That said, the faulty weld could cause a fuel leak and increase the risk of a fire.
