| - TLDR: laser tag and arcade with prize counter, food available, specials at night, parties available
Battle Blast is located in somewhat of a strip mall adjacent to the Marie Callendar's. We've been here for multiple parties and on our own and service is generally pretty good. They're able to answer questions and provide good service. Inside the laser tag room, it is dark, decorated, and with black lights galore. They've built essentially multiple lofts where teams can claim dominion over the land. It can be scary for children 8 and under who are new to the concept. On my most recent visit, my little brother was scared even though there were other children his age. After minimizing my experience and his experience stating that it isn't scary and he should get over it (wow), they finally said that it was a safety and liability issue due to non-players not clearly marked or visible. I still explained what I wanted to happen and the staff was more than happy to have a marshal accompany him. The young man walked with my brother and soon after he was on his own, after learning that there really isn't anything scary after all. My thanks to the staff for going above and beyond. I think walkthroughs with the little ones can help alleviate their concerns and bring in more business.
As for the food, don't come here looking for a chef's special, as it's mostly snack food including hot dogs, pizza, and soda. There's an arcade that accepts tokens and if you forgot cash, you can charge it to your card and receive tokens through this method. Reasonable prizes with ticket values accordingly.
If you're looking for a great time, to host a party, or for a late-night get together, this may be the place for you!
