  • We re-roofed our home this November, 2016 and Stell Roofing was the best overall bid. I contacted four different companies and evaluated the following: 1. where they on the BBB, Yelp or other websites and what the customer ranking was; 2. what product they used and how many roofs had they done; 3. how long the job would take; 4. and overall price to include both the main house, 3 skylights, patio and garage. I made an Excel spreadsheet and had the companies come to the house and provide estimates. Mike was great from the start because he detailed exactly what would happen, including the fact that it gets "loud" and we should take things off the walls just in case. He is upbeat and passionate about what he does and will answer all your questions. My husband was in the house when they did the job, in a day, and commented the great quality and how quickly it was all completed. Stell Roofing returned the second morning to finish up something small on the garage and overall we are thrilled. The other companies needed at least 2 - 5 days to complete the job and some were even $2,000 over Mike's estimate. We picked the Owens Corning 'amber' shingles because we wanted maximum light reflection without choosing the actual "white" shingles and because it would look good with our light cream colored house.
