Unfortunately there is no option for 0 stars. From day one I have had a horrible experience. While signing my lease they were the nicest people ever. The pictures you see are from the first day moving in. YES. The first day I was greeting was a roach on my face! I left and did not move in until 2 weeks later because my apartment was not ready although I signed my agreement and had walk through twice. The picture of the washer is right before moving in on my move in date. Bugs and dirty water. During my initial walk through, I smelled a foul odor coming from the fridge and I was assured that it'll be replaced before I moved in. It was not replaced and the place smelled horrible. In fact, it was not replaced until several days later after many phone calls and visits to the leasing office pleading my case. I bought groceries and had to store them at a family member's house and also sleep there until my place was sprayed. Throughout this whole ordeal the staff was very rude. Mercedes C. proceeded to call me "honey" and "baby" shrugging her shoulders and telling me there was nothing she could do. When I called she was very rude oftentimes interrupting me. I came in to meet with the manager,Steven Fergeson, for a scheduled meeting and was turned away after he had deadlines to meet although I was looking at him through a door and had explained that I'd taken off work to get things squared away. I was charged late fees for rent although I never stayed a night in the place until two weeks later. Steve said management hadn't gotten back to him (at this point it had been 2 weeks) and gave me a $50 gift card. It would be several days later and phone calls until I finally made another visit due to him not returning my calls. He told me he would be able to give me a credit although management didn't approve. Basically he just waived late fees although my rent would have been on time if I wasn't spending money to stay elsewhere when I just moved into my place. I asked why he couldn't provide a credit at first and he said it wasn't an option. This was a blatant lie. I pay $890/month well $934/month for a one bedroom. I can not get a request answered in a timely manner and I have never had a pleasant encounter with staff. Don't do it. I wasn't going to even review until today. Today I entered the office to pay rent and was notified that I had a late fee. However, I was notified that it was a 3 day grace period so I was under the impression rent was due on the 4th or you'll accrue a late fee. No. My deposit was refused until I paid $85 for being one day late. A man named Christopher asked the representative to grab a lease agreement (at random) and showed me the agreement which stated rent was due by the 3rd. I understood. However after showing me the agreement he laughed and wished the staff a great night in a sarcastic tone which left me in awe. Literally like "GOOD LUCK HAHA". DO NOT RENT HERE. The apartments have new management and this was my first encounter. When I asked about the previous staff and if they'll be back the representative responded by saying "Oh no, absolutely not." Although I understood and was quite happy to hear this, it was unprofessional. Henderson is a great area and there are plenty of other apartments to rent from within this price range. I made a huge mistake. Now I am considering breaking this lease. Avoid this place.
