I'm starting to get mixed feelings about this place. I was first introduced to Brio a year ago when I was in Dallas. Since then, when there is a Brio near where I'm going, I always make reservations.
This is the 2nd time I went to Brio at this shopping center. 1st time was OK except when I ordered a glass of house Cabernet and have to ask 2 times and never got. When I was charged, the waiter asked if I wanted to take my wine to go. I thought really???? Wine to go??? I told the waiter to just cancel the wine and give me a new bill.
My daughter and I ordered the following:
Glass house Malbec ($10): if they are going to serve a glass of wine, either serve it 1/2 the glass or serve it in smaller wine glasses. See my picture, I got 1/4 glass.
Caesar salad ($5) - it didn't come with parmesan cheese. who serves a Caesar salad with no parmesan cheese???? I had to ask for cheese twice.
Campanelle Carbonara pasta ($20) - This is my all time favorite. It comes with spinach, chicken and bacon. I wanted to go vegetarian so I substituted the chicken and bacon with mushrooms. It was still really good.
My daughter got the kids rigatoni with meat sauce ($7). My daughter really liked it.
I will definitely go back again but don't order wine and make sure that they put cheese on the Caesar salad.
