| - I was so excited to find this market with the Best of Vegas banner outside. It's a very large market but almost everything is overpriced. The premade food available in the deli is as expensive as eating at a fast casual restaurant. Their seafood is about double the price than say WinCo and 3 to 4 times more than at an ethic market.
So if it was just an overpriced market I wouldn't spend the time to write a review, however their customer service really irked me. When we went to check out, we noticed the Jalapeno mustard got rung up the wrong price; $3.25 instead of $2.99. $0.26 you're thinking isn't a big deal right? But that mustard was the last one, meaning they sell out of it a lot, and how many times have they overcharged customers for that. How many other items are ringing up at the wrong prices? It all adds up.
We went back to the aisle to double check the price, and yup, it's $2.99. We tell the same cashier that checked us out what happened. She said she can't do anything and has to ask a manager. The manager could not be bothered; she said she was busy with something else. So the cashier flagged someone else down--the son (or son-in-law?) of the owner. He made the most annoyed face when the cashier told him to check the price. He came back and confirmed with the cashier, never acknowledging us or apologizing for the "mistake".
So I'm now expecting my $0.26 back. Instead the cashier rings it up and asks me for $2.99. I tell her I already paid for it and I need a refund. She then says, oh ok go over to self serve check out or customer service and they can help you. WTF? Why can't you just open your register and give me a quarter and you sort it out later?
Forget it, it's only $0.26 and now my time wasted on this BS was not worth it. She's telling me to go stand in another line now? So as we leave, she YELLS at us to go to customer service and they will help us. Never did even ONE person there ever say sorry for the mix up.
Oh and when WinCo rings up an item at the wrong price, you know what they do? They give it to you FOR FREE.
