  • I am a nurse of over 28 years. Over the years of lifting, pulling, straining, and carrying my stethoscope around my neck why wouldn't I have cervical herniations and degenerative disc disease. After going through the referrals I finally got to Dr Garber. Once I finally got my surgery done I was discharged 24 hours later to home. When I woke up in recovery room I had a little surgical pain but the chronic pain was gone that I had before surgery. I felt that both him and his PA Dustin genuinely care about you as a patient. There explanation of your condition and your procedure and post care are very clear and concise. I hope this post helps those of you living with chronic back and neck pain and have never seen a surgeon or didn't like the surgeon you did see I highly recommend you see Dr Garber and Dustin. They do surgery at several different hospitals so you can expect they have quite a few clients. Be patient with your office visit times. It's worth the wait. Marlena
