So where do I start. My son went to impressions dental for check ups in 2014 and 2015. Can they clean your teeth? yes. The office is clean and everyone was nice. .Now to the bad. I had dental insurance at all the visits. Before I would have anything done I always asked what it would cost me. I was told they checked my insurance and i was 100% covered. The next visit I do not owe any money and everything they were doing that day was covered by insurance. Now 2 years later I am getting bills. My insurance says Do NOT PAY. I was told by impressions dental that they had an office manager that did not know what she was doing at the time and did not submit insurance correctly. My insurance says it's not my fought and I am not responsible for Impressions Dental not knowing what they are doing. The dentist office had one year to get the paper work correct and they did not. So in conclusion. 1. When Impressions Dental tell you it's all good and you are covered by your insurance at 100% don't take their word for it because it has to be turned in to the insurance in order for insurance to pay 2. When you go in six months later and they say you don't owe money and that your insurance took care of it. Don't take their word. They will send you $ 402 bill for two cleanings and 4 teeth sealants that you were told were paid for by insurance and would have been if turned in. My insurance says the services would have been paid for if they had got the paperwork within the one year deadline. My insurance did not pay after the year deadline and let impressions dental know they can not bill me because it was a non billable denial. I would love to support local Dentist and gave it a chance but my family goes elsewhere now and we have not had any billing issues.
