| - From setting the initial appointment for the estimate to unloading the final box, the experience with Get Your Move On was exceptional. When Moses came out to provide an estimate, he made sure we understood what to expect so our moving experience would be stress-free. He was exceptionally detailed when discussing the estimate and also told me what could be charged if the move required additional trucks, supplies, time etc.
As for the move itself, Miles and his team were superb! They were extremely polite and PROFESSIONAL. Miles called me when he was on his way and once he arrived, he walked me through the order, discussed what to expect, and then his team proceeded to get to work. They handled all our furniture, boxes and wrapped all our artwork and lamps with such care that you can tell that they genuinely cared that all our belongings arrive at our new house in the same condition they found them. As the day went on, it was clear that the initial estimate of 7-9 hours and 2 trucks wasn't going to be enough. That didn't stop them...after 14 hours and making another trip to fill up a third truck, the move was complete. While I know they were exhausted, not once did they complain or cut corners to get the job done faster. They were all true professionals!!
Lastly, when it came time to settle up, I fully expected the cost to be substantially higher than the initial estimate. To my surprise, I was only charged $200 more for the additional 5-7 hours and additional truck. Miles said that you always try to honor the initial estimate and perhaps that estimate should have been higher. I have heard the stories of dishonest moving companies misleading customers with hidden costs, yet your company didn't charge me what was rightfully owed to you. AMAZING!
