This place was such a fun afternoon. We started off on a golf cart ride down to the small train. This small train has a track built by hobbyists, they've spent about 6 years so far building it!! The train ride was fun. The cars you sit on are basically benches that the main car pulls. They have tiny houses and things to see along the ride. There was even a small tunnel the train rides through!
Next we went through the train museum. It was really cool seeing all the old trains including a USPS train. It was neat seeing how they would out the mail on the train and sort it out. Also saw some commuter trains where people would sleep. The last train was really cool with tons of small trains and tracks going all around. REALLY REALLY cool!!
Last stop was to ride the big train. Cost was about $10 per person I believe and was so worth it! They did story-time in the back car, which my two year old had so much fun in! They read a story, the kids all got to color, and then afterward we hopped through the cars to head up front to an open car. We got to feel the wind, look at the beautiful scenery, and enjoy a smooth train ride.
ABSOLUTELY FUN! 100% RECOMMEND!
