Our first date was at Sedona and we now go back every year. We got there a few weeks late this year. We know Sedona as a known entity with good service and good food and for the most part this visit did not disappoint.
Reasonably priced glasses of wine, we shared the calamari app and I am more used to a crispier outside, these were more like calamari fries that were softy breaded. We had inquired about the seafood platter (only 2 kinds of seafood) and the waitress assumed we wanted it. We felt bad when they brought it to the table and we rejected it. I really felt she was not paying attention.
Our salmon entree was wonderful, we shared it.
Lastly we shared a Chocolate Bread Pudding. It was not a normal bread pudding but rather more like a bread cake with whipped cream and chocolate sauce. it was dry. I also noticed a spelling error on the dessert menu which really irritates me. I tried pointing it out to two people, I doubt anyone cared. If I was the manager I would not have accepted the menus and gotten them reprinted. They spelled pudding BUDDING.
Overall, you will enjoy your meal and experience at Sedona but it was neither perfect nor will get the feeling of a lot of caring my the staff.
