  • This was a very last minute outing, but I am SO glad we went! I had head of this place many times, and even had a friend that worked there. I am in love with fall and seasons changing. The painting we did that day was wonderful and full of fall tones and autumn colors. It was nice that the canvas had a loosely drawn bridge for a guide for proportion and positioning. The instructor was very fun and super helpful. They provide the canva and paint and brushes. Even an apron. Please do not wear clothes you care about, I came straight from work and painted on pins and needles in order to keep my dress spot free. It is BYOB if you want to bring anything to drink (snacks welcome). However, because it is BYOB, people will be drinking. The woman next to me was very obnoxious, the sad part is that she probably wasn't even tipsy. I was looking forward to a nice quiet evening with my friend, and this woman was very loud. Her being crazy isnt Uptown fault though, this is why I give them 5 stars. I was pleased with my time there.
