| - It's a hit or a miss. I personally like the atmosphere this place has to offer: automatronic gorillas (with sound effects), simulated thunderstorms, large aquariums with tropical fish in them, indoor water fountain, and decorated ceiling to simulate stars. This business has definitely spent a lot of time and money on the decor and mood of the place. Don't forget to bring a camera!
The target audience is mainly for kids, but I go here now and then with my friends. With that said, if you don't like kids (or eat around them), this isn't the place for you.
Aside from the great decor and mood it sets, the other best thing this restaurant has to offer is their chocolate volcano cake. It's a dessert served to you with the waiter/waitress yelling out, "volcano," stretching out each syllable until the dessert reaches your table. There's a sparkler on top (again, don't forget to bring your camera!), which is removed by the waiter/waitress when it's completely used up. The dessert itself has 3 large elongated pieces of brownie forming a "tent" with chocolate syrup running down the sides. In that "tent" has some scoops of vanilla ice cream. On top of that "tent" is whipped cream. This dessert is good to share between 3-5 adults.
I hardly ever buy drinks whenever I eat out so I can't comment on that.
I've had their burgers, fries, and some seafood (like salmon and shrimp). They're ok. Not bad, but also not the best. I find this place a bit pricey, but keep in mind that you're not just paying for the food you eat, but also the decoration around you!
It's a fun restaurant!
