  • This place quoted me $300 to install a tailgate handle on a 2010 Toyota Tundra. I found the part for $40 online and it literally took me 5 minutes to unscrew the panel, snap the new one in, and screw the panel back on. I understand these places need to make a profit. Had they said $100 I would have probably done it just to be lazy, but my God to mark up your parts 300% then charge $150 for 5 minutes of labor is just highway robbery. Their excuse is "well we're a dealer and that's just how it is". Avoid like the plague.
