TL;DR Decent food with decent prices. Come here with friends!
Interesting how this place has a 2.5 to me. It's a pretty good place considering that it's right beside Sheridan College. Wasn't sure what to expect when we were going in, but was pleasantly surprised by the decent prices for the food.
The ambience is lacklustre, but it can be easily compensated for, if you're with the right company. They have pool tables on the inside!
Came here with a group and all of us finished our meals with no complaints and really full tummies.
I ordered a philly cheese steak sandwich ($10.59 + $1.99 for the soup) with French onion soup on the side. Bf ordered the bacon Swiss mushroom burger ($11.69 I think).
The bun was buttered, toasted and fluffy! Very happy about that since I love soft burger buns. They were very generous with the steak portion and I have no qualms with the ratio of meat to bun. Something I would have liked more of is the onions though. Felt like it could've used more onions.
French onion soup was decent. Wasn't sure how this would turn out to be honest, but was pleasantly surprised. It was really good considering it came from a sports bar and not a French restaurant. A little on the salty side, but I would order it again if we were to come back.
Bf enjoyed his burger, but commented that it was made with "Canadian Bacon" aka ham rather than bacon strips. But he polished the entire thing off still.
Overall, I would recommend coming here with friends for a casual place to grab some food and hang out. Not a place for dates or a nice family dinner out.
