| - If the food doesn't taste good, its probably your fault. They give you a small metal bowl to fill up with what ever your tummy desires. First stop is protein. They have various types from chicken, pork, beef, turkey, scallops, imitation crab meat, etc. I like how the meat is in pieces/chunks and not frozen, thinly sliced and rolled up like at other Mongolian grill restaurants I've been to. Then there are about 10 different dry seasonings available (spicy and non-spicy) to sprinkle atop the meat. Next you fill up the bowl with as much veggies as you can. Make sure to stack it high cuz it'll shrink to half as much once stir-fried. Implement some sort of stacking strategy to get the most of out your money. However, it's priced pretty well. 8.99 for lunch and 9.99 for dinner. I think it's $2 extra for a bottomless bowl. Anyways, next there at least 10 different sauces to choose from and then the starch - brown rice, fried rice, steamed rice, pasta, tortilla, or udon noodles. The grill masters stir fry up your food and your server delivers the bowl to your table. or if you want to stick around and watch at the grill then you can pick up your food there.
Bottom line: there are so many options from meats, seasonings, veggies, sauces, and starches that if your bowl happens to turn out as not tasty, then it's probably your fault. (ok, I've only been once and the food quality was fresh and tasted delicious when i went, but everyone's experience can be different.)
I don't recommend this place when you're in a rush during peak hours. Service-wise, it took a while for our food to get out because we happened to go at the end of lunch rush hour. The line to fill the bowls and to get them to the grill was long, but at least I was in good company and the entree turned out to be well worth the wait.
