  • Me and my wife financed a washer and dryer set at this store through Conn's financing. We were planning on paying off the items sooner and didn't need the loan for long. We expressed this to the salesman and he assured us if we wanted to pay off the loan quicker we could no problem, so went ahead and made the purchase. After a month or two we received our income tax refund and decided to make a large payment towards the principle of the loan (like an auto loan) to avoid added interest charges. We called Conn's financing and we were told by the agent we COULD NOT make a large payment towards our purchase and we would have to continue to make each and every single payment until the expiration of the loan, (So they can suck as much money as they can from you via collecting more interest). But, we were welcome to make as many single payments as we like, which is ridiculous & not what we were told. After receiving this information we felt we were mislead by these conniving snakes (salesmen) at this store & agreed this would be our first and last time doing business with Conn's. We promised ourselves we would NEVER recommend Conn's to any of our family or friends or anyone for that matter. We were blatantly lied to and completely taken advantange of by these con artists. Buyers beware of their shady sales tactics! They claim to have the lowest prices which maybe be true (but not by much) just to get you to buy into their ridiculous financing contract(s). In the end you will end up paying up to 200% more when it's all said and done. Stay away from these crooks! You have been warned!
