| - If Yelp! allowed for more than 5 stars Vetmed would get 20 stars! After taking our beloved 9 year old Jack Russell Terrier, Riley, in to his vet for a nasty cough, we were told the radiographs showed he had a primary lung tumor. Needless to say, we were devastated and scared. We were referred to Vetmed for a consultation. The staff here is phenomenal! Everyone is so nice, caring, and informational. I felt we were truly being cared for, and that everyone understood what a stressful appointment this was. Fortunately, our JRT does not appear to have a primary lung tumor, he was misdiagnosed at his regular vet. Dr. Radlinksy sat down with us and explained every single part of his x-rays so we understood, and could see for ourselves, what she was seeing and why she came to her conclusion. She not only put our mind at ease with this news, but referred us to an internist at Vetmed that will get down to the bottom of what is going on with this guy. It looks as though it is more on the level of bronchitis or pneumonia. But I know these specialist will see us the rest of the way through with confidence. The only disappointment I have is that they are only specialist and emergency. No vets for regular ongoing care. I wanted to make them Riley's primary vet care! Thank you Vetmed for making this process as pain free as possible!
