  • Fine little choclaterie on the lower west end of Davidson's commercial district. If you are a fan of hand crafted custom confections then these treats are very nearly a bargain. Adjusting for regional costs, inflation, and such I have had less good for way more so go ahead and spend a couple dollars and get yourself something nice. Quite an abundance of morsels on display as well as DeLuxe® ice creams around the end of the counter. Chocolate offerings run from the standard nuts and cremes to cordials and cocktails to fancies like lavender or champagne truffle. Milk chocolates are smooth and silky throughout, no wax, no grain, and melts clean away as they rightly should. The dark chocolates do their best but are by nature less good than the milk versions despite much fumery to the contrary; if you are choosing chocolates for their 'health benefits' then maybe you shouldn't choose chocolate.
