| - I had a 90 minute massage with Jessica today and I can't believe how good I feel. I have tried a number of massage therapists in town since the bodyworker I'd seen for more than five years retired due to an injury. Even if my regular bodyworker was available, I think I'd choose to see Jessica again. It was an incredible experience from beginning to end. She was very professional, not engaging me in extraneous conversation. I never felt she was rushing, even though I'm pretty sure she spent quite a few extra minutes on the problem area of my neck and shoulder. I like deep pressure, and hers was perfect. I also found her to be an intuitive bodyworker who seems to know where it hurts and how to work it out. In general, I have found that some massage therapists just continue to do what they were taught, without evolving to their own style and learning from their experience. There are massages that feel formulaic and generic, but not this one. And although I never needed to let her know that there was too much or too little pressure, I was so comfortable that I went with it and trusted I would feel better in another moment or two. As a middle aged woman, I don't expect a lot of pain relief from one massage session. But I got it anyway. Also, the space was clean and Jessica mixed up a custom scent with essential oils for me. It was perfect. I especially enjoyed the scalp and face massage at the end, and the hot towels she placed on various muscles throughout the massage.
