  • This is actually a review related to a case my cousin settled just a month ago. I was with him during the entire process. Its important to note that my cousin is the type to just suck it up or more often simply procrastinate even with things that are important. He was involved in an accident where a woman under the influence of drugs drove through a red light and crashed into the passenger side where my cousin was sitting. The woman was actually prosecuted by the DA for this accident. Despite having some soft tissue injuries at the time my cousin did not feel that his situation warranted a lawyer. It wasn't until a few months later that the net effect of this accident started to really kick in and he began to absorb his own medical costs. So the search for a lawyer began. Of course by this time it quickly became apparent that most lawyers simply were not interested in his case since several months had passed by. We visited at least 5 different attorney groups, many of those you see on TV. Prior to visiting Battle Born, we had only seen law clerks and I was just floored at how unprofessional and dismissive many of them were. Their commercials make it out like they will treat you like family but clearly that's all just PR. 2 more months into this and he hired "Call ED" who 2 more months later wrote a letter stating that they were dropping the case. Now almost 6 months later a good friend of our family referred us to Battle Born. We met with 2 actual attorneys in a beautiful building with a very friendly receptionist. Not only were they attentive, they were also very honest. I was really amazed at how they laid out all the pros and cons of the case. You could tell right away that this office was very different. I have worked with dozens of attorneys over the years and I have never felt as comfortable as I did sitting in their office. Fast forward another few months and against all odds Battle Born delivered a settlement. The Battle Born lawyers really deliver on everything they advertise. These are some very nice, very effective attorneys.
